Reflections: NDSU Energy Panel

In May, I had the privilege of moderating a panel discussion on energy with four exceptional industry leaders for a group of NDSU students. These students had just spent two weeks in western North Dakota learning firsthand about oil, gas, and career opportunities in the energy sector.

Our discussion focused on the challenges and opportunities ahead for North Dakota — from maintaining reliable, affordable energy to ensuring we have a skilled workforce ready to lead the way. The students’ questions and insights were thoughtful and encouraging. It’s clear that North Dakota’s future is bright when we invest in the next generation of leaders.
