Reflections: 2025 Legislative Session

During the 2025 legislative session, I had the privilege of testifying on several important bills impacting North Dakota’s families and businesses. As your Public Service Commissioner, it is my responsibility to track legislation closely and speak up when proposals threaten consumer protections or energy reliability.

One example, I testified in opposition to HB 1579. Protecting taxpayers means holding government accountable and ensuring that any changes to our regulatory framework serve the people of North Dakota first. I remain committed to keeping consumers at the forefront of every decision I make.
